These ants obviously have a path that leads from their nest, up one fence post, across the fence, down the next post, and then to their food source.
You can see that these girls are in motion - some have their legs out of focus, some have just their antennae moving, and one is running so fast she is almost completely out of focus.
I see the whole trail of them all day long, whenever I go to check on the sheep in this pen. They never waver off their scent trail, to the point that they will bump into each other.
They are truly hard working, and fascinating creatures.
For the macros - motion challenge that ends today. I work better under pressure - lol!
The date on my camera is wrong and I have yet to figure out how to change it. This was taken on July 31st.

This was a fun shot to do. I had a funny feeling the ants knew I was there because they seemed to race faster past me than when they were in their normal line.
Great shot -- l like the composition and lighting. The various blurred parts are great for the challenge, and it's interesting to see how the motion affected various spots. Thanks for entering the challenge.
