This week's challenge at the local camera club is weather landscape - which I find really difficult since the most weather we feel is a dreary rainy day but that translates into a dull photo that does not show the rain!
I was pleased to at least see some dramatic clouds as the cold front blew in.
There is something about this photo that suggests being outdoors, the day turning, time passing. Not sure why, perhaps it's the darker field under the brighter sky.
@francoise
It was getting very close to sundown so the landscape was getting dark, the wind was high, and the sun made the low hanging clouds to the east glow, yet these same clouds looked ominous looking west because the sun was not shining on them.
Lots of great weather.
