We went to celebrate the 65th wedding anniversary of my in-laws. That is a real cause for celebration, that is for sure!
Shown here are three generations - Father/grandfather/great-grandfather, Hubby/son/grandfather, and nephew/grandson.
This is also for the 339 edition of the get pushed challenge where Shanne @shannejw challenged me to use a setting of my camera that I never normally use, whether it's some in-camera processing or a pre-set for a scene I do not usually use. Since I shoot 95% on manual and my camera will allow me to create pre-sets of my own, I learned how to do this.
This is the second pre-set I created (and will keep) to be used for indoor photography with my new speed light. It is a pretty standard setting for a flash, I think … ISO 200, aperture f4.5, and 1/125 shutter speed. I got a whole raft of indoor night-time shots I was pretty pleased with … which is a first for me!
Here is another shot I took using a pre-set I created. Shanne @shannejw This is one that I will more than likely keep since it is a standard and I will be using my speed light more often now.
Thank you for the great challenge - it really did help me dive into some of the functions of my camera that I really did not know about! This particular pre-set will be so much faster to use than setting up my camera for every occasion!

This is a nice photo of the gents in the family.
