Where Did July Go? by farmreporter

Where Did July Go?

April, May, and June seemed to drag by but the month of July zipped by so fast my head is still spinning!
The summer is half over, and the kids will be going back to school full time in less than a month!
What a weird time we are living in!
A lovely misty scene noir kiddos are going back in stages. Home school till October for some. Straight to school in August for others. Every state and city has to decide what’s best for their children. It’s been utter chaos for the teachers and working parents for sure.

I know ... and me a school bus driver!! I am taking the first three weeks of September off. I told my boss that already!
That way they should have all the bugs ironed out of the system and we will see if it is safe.

Yes scary the way the time rushes by...you could just lie in the grass here though & laze about....a real sense of heat here.

We’re get pushed partners next week. How about taking a photo using diagonal lines to create something beautiful? https://erickimphotography.com/blog/2017/03/31/5-diagonal-photography-composition-tips/

Schools supposed to open fully from September here. I think they have to too, don’t think we Can mess with children’s education for much longer. Time does seem to be zipping by!

I guess that I have no markers. July seemed to drag more than the other months. The solitude sort of got to me several days and I have eaten myself to death!

@randystreat
Are you not allowed to get out at all, Kathy? Time would certainly drag for me as well if I were not able to get out and about.
I am blessed to live on a farm with lots of room to move, and in an area where I can get to the river and beach while maintaining social distance.
Not looking forward to school once more though ...

Beautiful picture. And yes times are weird.
Many Houston Public Schools (Texas) were opening on August 24 with a choice of real school or online, but now all has to be online until at least September 8th.
My kids school here in Oman will start August 25th, and they prepared 3 scenarios: online school, normal school, and something in between with less kids in the school at one time. It all depends on the government. But my guess is that it will be online for us for quite a while.

Yes, I can get out. But it's been so very hot and humid and I don't like to go too far by myself. I get out now and again, but I live by myself, so mostly it's just the 3 of us - Me, Myself and I.
