Hubby and I did a tour around Eastern Ontario on Saturday checking out potential cow/calf pairs we can purchase.
We saw lots of new country, lots of great cows, and met a few new friends.
It was a long day. We covered 700 km in 12 hours with 5 farm visits.
As per Covid protocol, we stayed outside and kept a social distance at all times.

We got out of cows a few years back due to my health (and finances) but now want to have just a few once again for us and family.
It is a toss up between this farm and another farm with equally good animals.
Pros for this farm: Younger cows, closer for transporting home and slightly better price.
Pros for other farm: Slightly better lineage, quieter cows, and they can hold them a little longer.
Decisions, decisions! I am leaning towards this farm and these girls so yes, she would be one of ours.
wow, that's a long day, indeed!
