The Lancaster bomber was taken out for an engine run.
Here it is peeking over the wall of the names of brave heroes who died during the Second World War.

Glad my father's eyesight didn't allow him to be a pilot.

This one is not air worthy but they do use it for engine run-ups.
Hubby thinks our Lancaster that is still flying is based in Toronto.
