Peony
Peonies, like the roses, explode into colour overnight, and then lose their petals almost as quickly it seems.
But they are glorious while they are in bloom!

They are great plants - so easy to keep and they live forever! I highly recommend them if you ever get a garden.

Very pretty! One of my favourite plants for the garden - stays nice all season even after blooms are long gone.

Lacking a garden, my kitchen window is full of peonies at the moment, all at various stages of opening. This one is such a glorious colour.
