From Dalhousie Mills you will find it interesting that you cross the Quebec and Ontario border (est 1791) a couple of times and will see markers posting at 1 mile intervals.
Because alcohol was more accessible in Quebec (and now cheaper) during Prohibition, these crossing points were a familiar route for Glengarry residents at that time.
