The amazing blue jay!

The blue jays came to visit today! They are so beautiful with their blue feathers! They do enjoy the nuts!

I love photographing wild birds, and I have to say that I think this is a cracking little shot. The whites look a little burnt out in places, but that doesn't really detract from the picture. The bird is stunning, lovely and sharp and the colours are superb. I was fortunate enough to see these myself when I visited the USA but I never managed a picture of one. Jealous.
