Lots of little red berries on this tree. I like the way they drape! Surprised the birds don't eat them. There must be a reason they don't!

Pretty grays and browns as backdrop colors for this vibrant reds. I too wonder why the bears go uneaten. Maybe they don't taste good until later in the winter? Isn't it interesting that next year's buds are already forming on the branches?
