Quite a busy few days for Lucy. Off to London for the weekend on Friday evening to see her boyfriend.
Saturday was spent with fellow 365ers exploring London,
Sunday spent chilling out with a heavy cold, followed by a meal at a restaurant with her boyfriend, where she received a marriage proposal, and accepted!
Monday off to St James Palace, where her boyfriend received his Duke of Edinburgh gold award.
Today, back home to York for a rest and to recover from her cold, but before that I took a shot of her engagement ring for you to see.
What a beautiful and unusual ring. I thought at first it was a bracelet, but the focus is excellent and so sharp. Congratulations to Lucy - the days ahead will be exciting for all.
Congratulations for the proposal , did she accept.? Also congrats to her boyfriend for his award. Lovely and beautiful ring. Hope she will recover from her cold soon.
Yay, so happy for Lucy! Many congratulations to her! The ring is simply beautiful! One of my sisters recently got engaged too... so our household is also full of wedding planning! (my sisters wedding will be in June next year!) :)
Thank you all for your kind and generous thoughts - Lucy has seen them and thanks you too! No idea yet when or where the wedding will be, so I'm awaiting developments. And the real challenge for me at the wedding will be how to take shots of the wedding, while being in some of them too!
Thank you Therese - as you can imagine, there is great excitement over the coming wedding. Which of your sisters has got engaged? - there must be lots of excitement at your house too.
We are all well, despite there being lots of people around with winter illnesses. I hope that you are keeping well too!
@fishers Thanks Ian, we are all doing great! My sister that's getting married is Juanita, (3rd eldest in my family), she has never been a part of 365, and as she's camera shy I've never uploaded any pictures of her either, but I'll be sure next June, to share some wedding pics with you all! :)
