this is only for an illustration of an editorial photo. it is neither meant to incite debate nor seek anybody’s opinion. foremost, it is not meant to disrespect and/or offend anyone's culture and/or beliefs.
please limit your comments to the technical and artistic aspects of the photograph. (although understandably you may probably not find any.)
I think it is a great illustration of how much can be read through the eyes. For some reason, it has left me wanting to compare whether it would look significantly different had you used a dark cloth. Certainly you have used the frame within the frame to great effect.
Well done, Vikki. It is amazing how different a person looks when you can only see the eyes. I look and I cannot see you in there. Great photo. You have such beautiful eyes.
Beautifully intense gaze. Windows to the soul.... difficult to avoid political/ religious comment because as a citizen of the United States, founded on freedom of/ from religion, it is distressing to know that the faithful are restricted...
I have never seen your style of picture done in black and white before and I have to confess that I really love it. And that’s my comment on the technical and artistic aspects of the photo which I understandably had no trouble finding ! ❤️
I find it looks really different on black. The black contrast and larger image gives the image a different "feel". I seem to like the white background better, but both have a mesmerizing appeal.
@summerfield very nice Vikki, and nice disclaimer as this is just as you said an editorial theme depiction! I agree with Mike, it does look quite different on black and unlike him I prefer it that way myself :) ;)
