In the warm weather, this is a sleek bird but, when temperatures drop he puffs up to about twice his normal size. I don't think he has noticed that it is the first day of spring.

He often sits in that bush the branches I guess give him good camouflage with the bunches of red berries still clinging to them in places he doesn't stand out as much as he does perched elsewhere. Often annoying though trying not to get a branch cutting off the top of his head or hiding his eye.
