Morning Glory Close Up

Continuing on with my Morning Glory series, here is one, fully opened, at the height of it's bloom period.
I have to say that I find these quite difficult to photograph. The purple/fuchsia colours seem to present a problem for the camera to capture accurately and the depth of the flower mean that you need a large DOF to get much of it in focus but then that leads to difficulty isolating it from it's background. I think this would be a great situation to use focus stacking but, I'll have to wait till a less windy day to try that.
Very pretty!

fave, I appreciate your commentary, as I've had the same difficulty with certain flowers.
