This clematis (Perle d'Azur) climbs up the side wall of my house. It grows to abut 9 feet and then, since I haven't provided a higher trells it kind of folds over on itself and cascades down. The individual flowers aren't all that impressive but the mass of them does make quite a nice display. I often wish I had planted it in a more advantageous and photogenic location rather than where it is, between the air conditioning unit and the electricity meter.
This is a very beautiful capture of this stunning clematis. The colour is amazing. No-one would ever have guessed that it's between the air conditioning unit and the electricity meter. We too have beautiful plants in similarly non photogenic locations.
