Most allI'm getting photos of the last few days are insects; bees, wasps, flies...might be getting boring for those of you not into buggy type things but this guy is kind of cool. Looks like a white faces hornet. I've seen these at the park before but never noticed them in my backyard till now. I've heard they are very aggressive so may have to be a bit more careful when poking my camera into flowers in the future!
@joysabin I found one of their hives at the park last year and I was considering going home and getting a ladder so I could get closer to get better photos. Then, someone told me about their aggressive habits, and I decided to be a wimp and keep at a distance from their home base!
