Maybe it's just because I am stuck at home more and so have more time to really observe the garden but, it seems to me that this year a number of my plants are having a very good year when it comes to number and size of blooms. This rose is on a bush that has really outdone itself with flowers.
This is such a beautiful picture of a rose in bloom. I've noticed improvements in a number of things in nature this year myself. I count them a blessing. (Your comment about the cardinal in your yard that you watch out for and worry over made me smile. We can't help but have a sense of connection to the wild things that choose to live close to us humans.)
