Sunflower Cheer

Still on sunflowers today but a slight softer treatment than yesterday's in-your-face bright, and slightly garish, version. ( And no bee today).I feel though that sunflowers are meant to be a little garish and over the top. I mean 7 foot stems and blindingly bright yellow flowers scream to be noticed.

I like this painterly treatment but I agree that sunflowers are meant to be bright and garish. That’s why the are called sun flowers.
