Through the Trees

After a day and a half of rain, everything was soggy and dripping and the little creek was running with much more enthusiasm than usual. Then, for a short time this morning, the sun broke through the clouds, hitting the tops of the trees and filtering through to light up patches of the forest floor, and sparkle off the little creek as it wound through the forest.
