It's been awhile since I've posted bears, so thought about time. I actually took this on Saturday when it was windy and cold. However i visited my sister later and got that great photo of her cat in the grass - poor bears got the chop! However it's been raining most of today so thought I could post the bears - I know I should have taken another photo -but I was NOT setting it all up again! I have taken a photo for today and it's in my 2nd album so I don't feel too bad :)
Instant Fav - especially for Sooty! \o/ I visited 1950s Sooty, Sweep & Soo at Pollock's toy museum in London a couple years back (and eventually found my very own Sooty puppet at Bath to share in my adventures). Also very exciting to see Super Ted amongst the collection. :)
Bears make great storybook characters, don't they? I'm glad you posted this as it is very well composed and full of emotion for anyone who ever loved a bear.
Love Paddington Bear. I think I read somewhere that they are creating a Paddington Bear trail in London with many bears clothing designed by celebrities etc and that after a few months they are to be auctioned off to raise funds for charity - will have to find out more about it. Love the nostalgia of this ...
Such happy memories for me from this capture, in fact you see Sooty in the center well my eldest had him and wouldn't go anywhere without him. Next year he is 50 years old, a heavy rocker in a group and still has Sooty with him and waves to people through Sooty.
