We've arrived in Hall's Gap to rain, cloud and fog. However this Yellow Crested Cockatoo greeted us on our balcony :)

Fabulous shot of this beautiful bird. I remember Hall's Gap. it was one of the places we went to in 1994. It brings back happy memories.

Thanks for sharing. beautiful bird. Is this a tame bird? Here you get them at pet shops at a price. I do have a African Grey called Stoffel.

@sdutoit Sylvia these "cockies: as we call them are in the wild! However they are very cheeky and not afraid of humans. They sit on fences, balconies etc hoping you will feed them :)
