The waves were really big (at least 3 metres) at Logan's Beach so many of the surfers ended up like this! We have 2 whales with calves here but each time I go there they are a long way out. Perseverance - I will get a close shot to post :)

I haven't been out to see the whales yet. I heard they are travelling up the coast and a friend of mine has spotted them. Maybe check it out over the weekend.
Great wipe out catch, Denise. Good luck with the whales. We're thinking of heading down to Albany soon, in the hope of seeing some there. Fingers crossed for both of us :)
