While on holidays in the Sunshine coast we went on a boat trip to view the humpback whales. We certainly weren't disappointed! Four swam around the boat and put on a glorious show for a long time. Boating rules are you must not get closer than 100 metres - however once you stop and turn off the engine they can approach you! And they sure did. Then you cannot re-start the engine until they are 100 metres away. Hence we had a three hour tour :)
