Twofer

Sometimes when working with watercolors it helps to have two paintings going at once. In that way one can be drying while working on the other one. I struggle with the patience of waiting for one to dry so this helps keep me engaged instead of quitting
They remind me of the beach. I’ve just looked back over your water colour project and learnt so much. Thx!

is that the katy secret? impatience? hmmm....that's probably not you preaching to me about how i am so impatient. 😜 but then, good for you, mayhap i should take a leaf from your book as i have two canvases on two easels that are both blank. aces, girlfriend!

Good idea. I can see how that could be a challenge. It probably helps that they seem to have the same base color scheme.

Never thought of that. They are nice. Can't wait to see the finished paintings.

oh hahaha, that would be me. I have little patience and would continue too fast. I am learning a lot ... keep instructions coming our way.

So very lovely!

That is what I sometimes don't like about water color: waiting for the wash to dry, good idea to have several projects at different stages. These look as if they are going well.

t's neat to look back at your calendar and follow the steps - someday I'm going to try this.

I like your logic and thinking.
April 19th, 2022
That would be me if I could paint.
April 19th, 2022
I like them both so far.
April 19th, 2022
I totally understand your impatience. Good thinking to have more than one painting on the go at once.
April 19th, 2022
What a good idea - you are obviously serious about your painting - stretching the canvas etc.

@kartia Thank you so much Kartia I am really happy you looked back and thank you too for the follow
@summerfield it is no secret that I am impatient but working on two at once keeps me working sometimes where I might stop altogether if I didn't have both going at once thanks Vikki
@shutterbug49 I hadn't thought about the base colors but that also is probably helpful although not necessary with watercolor so much
@randystreat how nice of you to say Kathy and I hope it will be soon too as I am tired of dragging it out
@dutchothotmailcom it was not my intent to instruct because I really am a novice but it makes me really happy to know you are getting something out of this Thanks so much Esther

Oooh… I feel beach/water scenes coming on! And, of course, the master of composition could not simply lay these side-by-side!
