Berries Galore by grammyn

Berries Galore

A friend of mine owns some land that has wild blackberries on it and she offered to let me pick some today. I spent about an hour and got almost enough to make some jelly. I froze them and I will have to go back again soon to get some more. These should be ready in another week or so.
Nice sparkles of color agains the tree.

Oh, I see they are blackberries - unripe. Never seen so many all at the same time. There is nothing like the flavour of blackberry!

A half and half in the background with yummies in the foreground! There is much to love about this photo… besides the blackberries! I love the way the great detail in the texture of the nearer tree is made even more prominent by the blur of the same texture in the far tree. And the overall composition is spot on, as usual… almost all the berries clearly focused, the two long twigs/branches of the berry bushes adding to the DoF and the bright greens/reds playing off the more drab color of the trees. Well done!
