I already had blue thread loaded on my serger from some alterations I did to my daughter's dress the other day (the one who bought me the candy), so I decided to start a quilt for a future great grandchild with some scraps I had left over from previous projects. Changing the thread on the surger is a challenge so I try to do lots of sewing with the same color thread whenever possible
Even though changing the thread is not that difficult on a regular machine, I also try to do all of the same color thread mending/altering when I can! Your future great grandchild will undoubtedly love that quilt… because it is made of super soft fabric and because it was made by great grandma! (Grandma great?)
