Iced Tea day today
When I moved to Alabama I discovered that sweet tea is a staple. It is served year round and the sweeter the better. There is the occasional person who likes it unsweet but they are few and far between. Some people even give it to their babies in the bottle.
I learned this when I moved to NC. I can only drink that sweet stuff when it's loaded with lemon. I rarely drink it and when I do, it's usually unsweetened.
I used to love overly sweet tea- in any condition- hot or cold. But my taste buds have changed over the years and it's unsweetened for me now. I can't do any sugar in it. But I'm glad you enjoyed your cuppa! Another one for the foodie mags- good shot!
nice shot and facts about sweet tea ~ It's interesting reading all of the comments. I have to agree with all of those who prefer unsweet tea. The less sugar in my diet, the better!
