You may think today is 30 November but for me it is Christmas Day! My husband came home at lunch today with my present! He hates to not have something under the tree for me this year but I told him that was perfectly OK!
@marilyn Mostly it was what I asked for . I had an idea I was going to get one and kept dropping some very broad hints. Finally he said he wanted to get one but didn't have a clue what kind I wanted and I really didn't either. I have been thinking about it for a while and finally told him which one to get. Him notice? Kidding, right?
You are going to so love the photos you get from this! I am going to have to get with the program and start improving my photography or you will leave me in the dust... which I actually won't mind as long as I get to keep seeing your gorgeous shots and can let everyone know you are MY sister! I was thinking just today that I need to retire so I have more time for my camera. Work keeps getting in my way... and add to that the other craziness this time of the year brings and it doesn't leave me much time. :)
@marilyn Aaaw! You say the nicest things and always make me feel so good but let's not forget you have been a finalist in several competitions recently and I haven't so .............I don't think anyone is going to be in the dust unless it is me!
@grammyn Right shot, right time... You have always had the better "eye" which has nothing to do with camera... and you are more observant and maybe not always in the rush I seem to be, which tends to lead to better shots and finding more photo ops... as I said above... maybe when I retire... :)
Oh my gosh! I saw this in thumbnail after I commented on your lovely g. daughter's pic. I was like "Did Katy get a new camera?" Oh my gosh! Yes, you did! I am soooo excited for you. Remember, be patient though...it is a learning curve. I know, as I am still on the beginning of it! Haha It is fun to learn and see what it will do. congrats
@espyetta I love your enthusiasm! I remember several of your comments about your new camera and think of you often. I am so way at the bottom of that curve. Old dog...new tricks....you know what I mean. Slow and steady wins the race though so I will just keep plugging along
