Temperature Please

There was a discussion thread, by someone who vowed not to follow the discussions anymore, about how few people shots there were on the PP I decided to try some people shots but I am not very good at them. I will keep practicing.
People shots are my biggest hurdle, by FAR! Bugs, flowers, mountains, animals, and splashing water are SO much easier to deal with :)

Wonderful candid, Katy! Love the pov . . so that's how they take temperatures now?! Didn't follow that thread . . I started out on here wanting lots of people candids. Now I'm wanting more cooperative models like flowers, trees, etc. LOL I say find your niche and stick with it or do whatever you want to do. Who cares! I think that your talent is so diverse that you're good at anything you shoot.

@grizzlysghost I'm finding that out!

@karenann Thanks, karenAnn. I feel as you do about the co-operative but want to push myself so I can learn more. It is so kind of you to say I have a diverse talent. Thanks again!

Have to agree with karenann... you are very talented and can accomplish anything you set out to do... trust me, I know these things! :) Love the PoV on this shot and the B&W... :)

@marilyn Aaww shucks! thank you ma'am! You have no idea how much your support means to me!

This is a good candid Katy. And works well in B&W. I did see the post. The problem for me is that my husband is not a willing subject and my 3 kids are on their own. I'd have to drive into town to see some people and then it's hit or miss. So I'm sticking mostly with landscapes which are my thing. But when we go see my son for Easter, I'm going to try my hand at people.

@debbim That is kind of why i don't do a lot of people too. I rarely go out and the opportunities aren't here in my small town as readily as they are in a bigger town. I am looking forward to what you post when you do try it!

I'm working more on people shots, too. I wasn't sure what she was doing at first...I thoguht she was cutting his hair then I said that couldn't be right so I looked more closely. Silly me! Great job, Katy.

@debsphotos I can see how it looks as if she is cutting his hair. I had never seen anyone take a temperature like that before either. Thanks,Debbie!

@grammyn -- we have a thermometer like that for our granddaughter. Now, at the doctor's office, they just swipe this wand over your forehead! That one baffles me!

Great that you are trying to get people. I don't see many people at the moment but may be will one day. Interesting haircut

@debsphotos Amazing isn't it?
March 23rd, 2012
@peterdegraaff Maybe you should start Peter since yours always seem to hit the PP. I am sure there are tons of interesting subject in Australia! The haircut is not that unusual here!
