Well, I saw your iso and didn't think that 400 would produce this much overexposure. Was the dog in the sun too . . see how stupid I am?!! Your other readings look "normal" . . and 400 can be the norm on some shots. This is really interesting. I'll never learn.
@karenann The exposure also has to do with the aperture (opening) and the time the shutter is open. I was shooting up into the sky but the light was behind me. the other factor is the dog is white so easier to overexpose than a darker dog. I don't think you are stupid at all. I think you are learning something new!
