I often pass this tree and think it would make an interesting picture because it is in the middle of healthy trees and obviously NOT healthy!

Very observant, Katy! This is a very symbolic photo. Even of life and people in general. It's the one's who hang on and keep going that make it. I see these things too and often wonder what happened. Great capture, Katy!
