Pole Dancer by grammyn

Pole Dancer

This is the pole that prompted the guarantee that the squirrels wouldn't be able to climb. http://365project.org/grammyn/365/2014-03-02
This is the shot that proves the guarantee is now null and void!
Very cute!

Oh come on. Maybe it's the new homepage layout, but I love it!

Hahahaha! Too funny!

Hilarious caption Katy! Those guys are persistent if nothing else. I bought some stuff at the bird store to make the poles slippery. I did watch a squirrel slide down a pole but I think you need to re-apply often, so again, I opted for my squirrel proof feeder. Great shot!

Here's a link to it - http://shop.wbu.com/p/wbu-fundamentals-squirrel-proof-bird-feeder/feeders_squirrel-proof-feeders?pp=12 It's not cheap but I actually watched it work today. I had my own little pole dancer who shimmied up the pole and when he reached for the feeder, the outside cage pulls down and closes access to the food. It's weight sensitive and they're too big! It was awesome! Plus, it has 4 perches as well as the cage for birds to climb and hang on. I have 2 now and they are worth every penny!

@tara11 Holy Mackerel!! You weren't kidding about it not being cheap!
March 26th, 2014
@tara11 Thanks for the link, Tara!

Love your title. What a great shot, Katy. You must be putting out something really good that this squirrel wants. FAV
March 26th, 2014
@darsphotos Thanks so much especially for the Fav!! It is just fruit and nut mix but it is easy to get so they like it.
March 26th, 2014
Bahahahahaha!! Love this! Caught in the act! I think I read somewhere to put Vaseline on it, but I don't know how well that would work?
March 26th, 2014
@luvmynynix Lol! Is that a guilty face or what?! I have heard the same. We will probably try that. Thanks again for yet another Fav.
March 26th, 2014
He has guilt written all over that face, have you sent a copy to the company? Brilliant shot, brilliant title
March 26th, 2014
@claireuk He sure does! the "company" is my husband who made the pole and you can be assured he has seen the results and has been warned to not make guarantees he can't control! ;~} Thanks, especially for the FAV, Claire
March 26th, 2014
@grammyn Oh that is priceless, one for the never to be forgotten cupboard and brought out to mercilessly tease him when the need arises:0)
March 26th, 2014
@claireuk Hahaha! Count on it! ;~}
