As I was loading the wheelbarrow with mulch this morning I saw a small lizard climbing over the edge. Closer inspection revealed ..............a piece of mulch! After much debate with myself (did I really want to confess to not seeing this well?) I went for the camera.
Oh yes....I love those shy and elusive fantasy critters.I have been seeing more and more of them lately.Made hubby stop the car for and eagle that turned out to be a stump.lol.Fav for the lizard!
A true photographer! So glad you shared this... I think you will be surprised (or maybe not) with how many similar stories you get. I am frequently startled by a spider coming down his web beside me or running across the floor, that turns out to be one of my many eye floaters!
I think it bears a strong resemblance to the Satanic Leaf Tailed Gecko (Uroplatus phantasticus) and quite understand the mis-identification, only with the help of Ross's super large images would one tell the difference!
