@maggiemae LOL! this is his defense mechanism. Whenever he feels threatened he puffs this out in an attempt to apear larger and more threatening but it didin't fool me for a minute! @lesip I thought it did too! We have a green area behind out house. I have never thought about it before but that might be partly why we have such a nice variety! Not a lot of concrete and asphalt!
