As I left for my morning walk I saw the moon low in the sky looking absolutely radiant. I debated whether to go back for the camera, rationalizing I could get the shot when I got home. In the end I decided to go back and get it. It was a good call because by the time I got home the moon was below the horizon.
@anazad511 LOL! Oh, Ana! You are so good to say that! You know I am always going to be hit or miss with my efforts but it makes me feel good to read your nice comments! ;~}
Oh, that's just beautiful. I love the silhouette of the trees framing the moon.
Haven't you learned to take your camera on your walk? There was some other shot that you missed or almost missed because you didn't have your camera strapped to you.
Shame, shame, shame. Camera goes EVERY where. ;-)
@pasadenarose Can I just tell you how much I love you? My walk is the same place everyday and I often don't take my camera because of the sameness of the terrain. On occasion I feel there might be something of interest and then I need to get my glasses to so I can SEE what might be interesting to shoot. Lots of days there is not enough light so I don't take the camera. In spite of all of that I have taken a fair amount of different shots over the last two years from my morning walk.
