I am trying to work on a challenge by some friends that focuses on elements of photography. This is my offering for shape and possibly form and depth.
I have photographed one of these before but still find it so interesting how his body has the look of a mask from a scary movie! He is only about 1/4 of an inch (6.35mm) in size and I couldn't figure out how to get this shot and show you the scale.
They are certainly one strange looking spider. Good shot! Other than making him a speck in the middle of the web, there's not much you can do to show scale. He has some great colors though!
