So, continuing with trying to get some rear-sync flash shots at home, before venturing out....a small flashlight (torch) dangling from a ribbon and swinging in front of the lens.
@robz ...basically, usually a flash fires when the shutter open; some cameras can be set/sync so that the flash fires just before it closes (reat or 2nd curtain). With a sliw shutter this ideally results in a trail behind the object...either a light trail or "ghost"...the subject has to be moving I think. I'm finding it quite challenging!!!
