Dudley Zoo by harveyzone

Dudley Zoo

I went to a monthly Risk Stratification meeting in Dudley this morning. It is a two(ish) hour meeting, and what with walking to the building and signing in etc I paid for 3 hours parking. The meeting lasted around 45 minutes! So as not to waste all that valuable parking time I wandered back to the car the scenic route down Dudley High Street past the zoo and castle, then back past the bus station to the car. That might have pushed it into the second hour of parking!

This is the Grade II* listed entrance to Dudley Zoo built between 1935 and 1937 designed by Berthold Lubetkin and Tecton. Some think it a but ugly, and it has certainly seen better days, but I think it is a lovely bit of design from the 1930s.
Nice lines/curves and composition. But what is "Stratification" is it a fabrication of proper words that now require clarification before it can be strategically ratified?

@dw Yeah, it is an concept made big by American health insurance companies so is probably an Americanism. It is basically dividing a population into stratas based on their risk of being ill and being admitted into emergency care, so that they can be treated before that emergency takes place.
