On our way home, and we made a stop for lunch at Newton Abbot. Near the centre is ancient tower of St Leonard, all that remains of a medieval chapel founded in 1220.
Lunch was at the rather excellent Pharmacy Cafe, the interior of which is still set out like a victorian pharmacy. And they do an excellent bacon and mushroom baguette.
