Never mind the crocuses! The true sign that Spring has finally sprung is that it is mild and dry enough to put the washing outside to dry. This is actually yesterday's load; I took pictures of today's load but nothing was as bright and cheerful as this football kit. I briefly considered going and fetching the dry kit out of the airing cupboard and pegging it back up so I could re-take the picture today, but then came to my senses. It's bad enough having to wash football strips five times a week, without doing it again for the sake of artistic integrity!
Your thumbnail photos under this image of washing on the line really tell the story of winter's end. Looking back through your photos, I see you had enough snow to make all this so welcome!
Haha!! Can relate to that "temptation" of going that extra mile just to appease the inner perfectionist.
Thank you for leaving such kind comments too Helen. If you want to know a little more about the jelly lens, check out http://www.jelly-lens.com/index_main.php
Just a little something to note (which I discovered along the way) is that the pictures taken with my camera phone becomes more blurry with the lens on. I haven't the chance to test it on a compact camera, but am hoping that its auto focusing function will overcome this problem.
I hung my washing out for the first time yesterday, too! It's such a joyous moment, isn't it? Though the things still had to go onto the clothese horse at the end of the day - not quite warm enough to dry things through. But what a blessed relief to peg things out.
