Both boys had football matches today and both were away, so my day was divided between driving round Cambridgeshire and standing on the sideline cheering on the teams (both lost, not a good day on the football front!). This morning's game was in Holywell, a lovely village on the banks of the Ouse, and the sun was shining, so I skipped the first half of the match and too the dogs for a walk. These cottages look out over the river.
Shame they didn't win , but its taking part that counts. I like your pretty thatched cottages it would look so old fashioned with out the the cars & poles .
