The band stays in High and Middle Schools during their tour. The kids sleep in the gym and the staff and volunteers sleep in any other available space. Often the band hall or multi-purpose room.
However, the first couple of nights when we were staying in a school I had the luxury to have a private room: the copy-room!
There was not a lot of space (just enough to put my airbed and suitcase along it), but being alone was very nice.
this photo will be a classic one day! As more and more records go electronic, filing cabinets are becoming a thing of the past. Also, I would not want to dig through those top drawers - where would your head go? LOL!
