@ludwigsdiana Hi Diana, you put a sweet syrup or lemonade in the fly catcher, the fly or wasp enters through the opening on the bottom and because it wants to escape through the top of the bottle (which is closed) the fly drowns in the syrup. I don’t use them often. Only with dinner parties in the garden and in summer at my work. Wasps and my clients is not a fortunate combination.
@jacqbb Thanks for the info Jacqueline, that is quite interesting and I have never seen these before. The opening must be rather small, or else the liquid will flow out.
