@mcsiegle If you look at my photo from yesterday Mary, you'll see a SOOC shot where you see part of the fountain better. The whole thing is like a massive dandelion!
Ah, yes. I do see. There's a fountain in Minneapolis, MN like that. I always loved it when we lived there (28 years -- and moved away 12 years ago). I had forgotten it. I like both your shots of it.
The colour of the background - changed from yesterday's shot - works well against the brass rods of the fountain. Normally a bright spot in the corner of an image would be a distraction, but this time 'breaking the rules' has worked and it acts as a counterpoint to the water jet and darkish bottom left corner. Go on then, break a few 'rules'. Something I ought to do more of.
