Muick Bridge

Another of the 'Seven Bridges' on my cycle run the other day. This one, built in 1878, crosses the river Muick just before it meets with the river Dee. Built of local, solid granite!

The DOF is great here, and the inclusion of the date really makes the shot.

Issi, assuming you were about 10 feet from the date stone, then your DOF is just over 2 inches. Assuming that is what you wanted, then fine. For me, I would have used a smalled aperture to get all of the stone in focus. Great textures in the stone.
