Knowing that our days in Houston are now firmly numbered, I will be posting some of my favourite things. Starting with our rented home. We live on the left-hand side of this lovely town house.
@kwind We're heading for Paris Kim. We'd rather stay in Houston however! We don't go until mid August, but we'll be on holiday in Scotland for a bit in July, so we're really on a countdown now! @cathieg Heading for Paris, so hopefully lots of interesting photos to come in the future Cathie! @gerry@busylady@bkbinthecity Thank you! I'm hoping to get some shots of my favourite places in Houston over the next few weeks before we ship out. However, it's a challenge as not all of our haunts are particularly photogenic, but that's Houston for you!
@kwind We're being picky ...we've lived in Paris before, so it's not so exciting, and our daughter is coming out to the US (Phoenix)to live for the next 12 months, so we'd have rather stayed another year here. BUT, there are worse places than Paris! ;-) We know, we've lived in some of them!!! Always positive ... onwards and upwards!
Sorry you'll be leaving the US, but looking forward to photos of Paris -- really, what a wonderful posting to me, sitting here on Beaver Island! Where were you hoping to go next, assuming you could have stayed the additional year here?
@denisefuller Oh yes, Paris will provide lots of opportunities! @randystreat Yes, there will be plenty varied photos over the next month - lots going on Kathy! @paulaw We have truly loved this house, but especially the location of it. It's been perfect for us and allows us to walk to things and places in the neighbourhood, which in Houston is quite unusual! @khawbecker Thank you - I'm planning on a few more like this, just in case I never get back! @sansjuan Thanks Nita @taffy Paris would have been great in a year's time - this move is just a year too early! BUT, we will make the most of it as we always do! :-)
