Dad - Giverny by jamibann

Dad - Giverny

Just back from taking my dad to visit my brothers in England, so another massive catch up on 365 - not helped by the fact that my computer is misbehaving and will probably have to attend the Mac Quack. Dad flew from Scotland to Paris with me, spent a few days in Paris area (we visited Versailles and Giverny) and then we took the Eurostar over to England where we spent time with both my brothers. This photo is taken at Giverny where Claude Monet lived and was inspired to produce his famous waterlily paintings.
Love this!!!

@amandal Aw, thanks Amanda! Dad doesn't like to have his photo taken - so I was really pleased to get a natural shot of him.

@jamibann Tennis was fab :0 we got to see the end of the Murray semi final, which had been called off the previous day due to rain. My favourite restaurant in the whole wide world is now the Cristal Room Baccarat.....providing I never have to foot the bill!!! Thanks for leaving the fab weather in Paris for us Issi

Your dad is a very handsome man. I like this smiling portrait. How great that you all got some family time together.

Handsome Dad, I miss mine. I empathize with recalcitrant computer, I've had too much of that!
