The Moon by jamibann

The Moon

The moon has a face like the clock in the hall;
She shines on thieves on the garden wall,
On streets and fields and harbour quays,
And birdies asleep in the forks of the trees.

The squalling cat and the squeaking mouse,
The howling dog by the door of the house,
The bat that lies in bed at noon,
All love to be out by the light of the moon.

But all of the things that belong to the day
Cuddle to sleep to be out of her way;
And flowers and children close their eyes
Till up in the morning the sun shall arise.

Robert Louis Stevenson.

The first time I've tried to capture the moon. Next time it will be a full moon.
Beautiful Moon capture - lovely detail (and great poem too).

Very nicely captured. Impressive in B&W. And I like your framing line. Enjoyed the verse as well — perfect accompaniment for your picture.

You got some great detail, Issi. And I did enjoy the Stevenson poem!

@lyndemc Thanks Denise ... I eventually worked out how to get a thin line around my photos. I'm not Elements' sharpest student! I use it too little and to about 5% of it's capabilities! One day I will have the time, and take the time, to learn how to do more!
