John's mum is staying with us at the moment, so we took her to the Lido last night for a treat. It was a great show, but they are very strict about no photography inside. The professional photographer did a great job however - at 20 euros a pop! Couldn't resist buying them though, as a souvenir of the event. I put all three together in a triptych here for my 365 journal. :-)
@kwind Yeah, it's kind of frustrating. I tried to sneak a couple of iphone shots, but the guy was very vigilant and the photos I did get were very blurry due to not being able to take time over them for fear of being rapped over the knuckles! It pushes you towards buying the professional's photographs, of course, so it's a money spinner for them.
Did I ever reach out to you to let you know I'll be in Paris next June? A mother-daughter trip! June 16-25 is Paris, then off to Provence til the 30th. It would be lovely to meet you. I would love a Paris photowalk. :)
@darylo Daryl - I'd love to meet up in Paris! We are often away in July, but June should be good - so just give me a shout nearer the time and we'll do a photo walk together. :-)
