I walk past this house regularly on my way to catch the train into Paris. I liked the way the blue shutters were highlighted in the reflections on the canal.

Happy New Year - lovely canal photo. My husband and I spent a couple of months (way back in the late 1990s) on our boat in the French Canals - it was a beautiful way to see a beautiful country.
@jeneurell Thank you. I'm afraid this canal is not deep enough, or big enough for boats or barges, but it's nicely scenic, winding its way through our neighbourhood. But, maybe one day I'll do a canal trip somewhere in France too!
